Switching from CO2 to fiber laser technology has allowed Anchor Technology to take advantage of lower operational costs, faster cutting speeds, and new technologies such as TRUMPF’s High Speed Eco which uses a touchdown nozzle to decrease nitrogen-cutting gas usage by up to 70% while doubling throughput by reducing laser piercing time and allowing for significantly faster cutting head acceleration.
